Your reservation is confirmed and the countdown to adrenaline has officially begun! Very soon you’ll be exploring the Dominican jungle, flying above the Anamuya mountains, and enjoying a full day of adventure. But before the excitement starts, the million-dollar question appears: what should you bring to La Hacienda Park?
Preparing properly can make the difference between living a legendary adventure and spending the day worrying about your sandals falling off on the chairlift or your favorite shirt getting ruined in the mud. In this guide, you’ll find the official list of clothing, gear, and expert tips so you arrive fully prepared and your only mission is to enjoy every moment of the experience.
1. What to bring to La Hacienda Park: dress for action
At La Hacienda Park, you’re not coming to a fashion runway — you’re here to conquer the jungle. Follow these rules:
The golden rule:
Don’t bring anything you love too much. The mud from our buggies is real and persistent. It’s the best souvenir from the tour, but it doesn’t always come out of white clothes easily.
What shoes should you wear at La Hacienda Park?
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Sneakers or water shoes with firm soles are ideal. Flip-flops, sandals, or open footwear are not allowed for Ziplines and Quick Jump activities for safety reasons.
Clothing for buggy tours in Punta Cana:
We recommend lightweight shirts (such as dry-fit fabric) and comfortable shorts.
Extra change of clothes:
Bring a complete spare outfit for after the activities. You’ll appreciate being dry and comfortable for lunch and the ride back to the hotel.
Swimsuit:
Wear it under your clothes. You’ll need it for a refreshing dip in the Anamuya River.
2. Technology: capturing the moment
We know you want to show off your jump on social media, but safety always comes first:
Action cameras (GoPro):
They are more than welcome! However, for the Ziplines they must be mounted on a helmet support. Handheld cameras are not allowed while flying.
Smartphones:
If you bring your phone, keep in mind that for safety reasons it is not allowed to use it during most activities. However, you can freely use it in the park’s common areas, during lunch, or during rest breaks.
Drones:
For operational safety and visitor privacy, drones are strictly prohibited throughout the park.
3. Essentials and personal care

Sunscreen and insect repellent:
Prefer biodegradable versions. We are located in a protected ecosystem in the Anamuya mountains, and we want to keep it pristine.
Towel:
Essential. The park does not provide towels, so make sure to bring one in your backpack to dry off after the river.
Cash and cards:
Although the tour is all-inclusive, you may want some money for tips, professional photos of your adventure, or souvenirs from our craft shop.
4. What to bring to La Hacienda Park: where do I leave my belongings?
A common question is: Are there lockers at La Hacienda Park? The answer is YES.
We provide secure lockers where you can leave your backpack, extra clothes, and valuables while you enjoy the 7 activities. You will only carry the essentials with you during each stage of the adventure.
The staff’s “Top 3” tips
Arrive after breakfast:
The energy expenditure in the park is high. Although our Dominican buffet is spectacular and abundant, the adventure starts early and you’ll need energy from the first minute.
Wear a bandana:
For the buggy tour, a scarf or bandana covering your nose and mouth will protect you from dust (or flying mud). Plus, it looks great in photos!
Be punctual:
The transportation pickup is precisely coordinated. If you miss it, you lose valuable activity time. Paradise doesn’t wait!
