Fun in paradise We had an amazing day overall. Beautiful setting, well organised activities . Would advise you bring your own googles and face scarves for the buggies!! I would go again!

Our guide, Oreo, was phenomenal! Our guide, Oreo, was incredible! I would book any excursion if she was the guide!! We had so much fun. We learned some culture, the food was better than our resort and our guide was FANTASTIC! I wish there was a more advanced level for buggies and horse back riding but, overall great experience!!

Know What to Expect Before You Go La Hacienda Park was very different from what we expected. This was purchased for us as a gift so we did not look into it much. We thought it would be a park where you could explore at your own pace and choose the activities you wanted to do. Instead, you're assigned to a group with a tour guide and a professional photographer, and everyone follows the same schedule.

Our group started with horseback riding, which I wasn't able to participate in because of the weight limit. From there, we took a safari truck to a small village where we visited a petting zoo and sampled Mamajuana, which was a fun experience. Next came the zipline, which also had a weight limit, followed by the chairlift. While I was able to ride the chairlift, it mainly transported guests to another area where many of the activities also had weight restrictions.

The buggy rides looked like a lot of fun, although everyone returned absolutely covered in mud so be prepared if you choose that activity!

After the safari portion, we decided to separate from our group and spend some time enjoying the main park instead. There was a fun parrot show, a live band that created a great atmosphere, and a lunch buffet.

Unfortunately, the buffet was disappointing. The food selection was fairly simple, and seeing dead flies inside some of the serving dishes made us lose our appetite. You get one water to enjoy your lunch and additional drinks have to be purchased. Seems like for $10 USD you should have free refills on water.

Our tour guide did an excellent job making sure I was aware of which activities I could participate in and was very thoughtful about helping us stay comfortable and enjoy the day despite the limitations. The professional photographer also captured some wonderful photos of us. As with many excursions in Punta Cana, though, be prepared for another photo upsell at the end of the tour.

Overall, La Hacienda Park has a lot to offer, but I recommend researching the activity schedule and weight restrictions before booking. If you're expecting to freely explore the park on your own, you may be disappointed. However, if you enjoy guided excursions with a variety of activities, you'll likely have a good time.

Best Honeymoon adventure! We had an absolutely fantastic day and a huge part of what made it so memorable was our incredible guide, Oriana. From the moment she greeted us, her enthusiasm, warmth, and sense of humor made everyone feel welcome. She was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible!

We chose the VIP package, and it was worth every penny. Having a small group meant we never had to wait long for any of the activities, and we were able to enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. The included drinks throughout the day, the professional photos, and the delicious Dominican buffet lunch were all wonderful extras that made the experience feel even more special.

Every activity was a highlight in its own way. The zipline offered incredible views, the chairlift ride was breathtaking, the horseback ride through the countryside was peaceful, and the buggy adventure was an absolute blast, we were completely covered in mud and loved every second of it! We also enjoyed stopping to learn about Dominican culture and sample local chocolate, coffee, cocoa fruit, and mamajuana.

What really set this excursion apart was Oriana. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and learning about the Dominican Republic along the way. Her energy was contagious, and she kept the entire day running smoothly while making it feel personal and engaging. She truly made our trip unforgettable.

If you’re considering this excursion, I can’t recommend it enough, especially with the VIP package. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, beautiful scenery, local culture, and unforgettable memories. Thank you, Oriana, for such an amazing day!
